Paintball
Yo what is up my people. I know I just wrote an email late last week but here we are again. This past week was awesome and full of miracles.
Obviously we have start off with the fun stuff. Today we got to go paintballing with the zone for an activity. I wont even lie it was a lil scary at first because I have never been but once I got shot once and I new what it felt like out wasn't bad. I will say I didn't preform the best with actually getting people out but I did make them waste a lot of ammo. There were times when 3 dudes would be full auto on me and I would just be dancing around the bullets haha. I got hit like 3 times but none of them popped so I was still in (those ones hurt super bad tho). Anyways super fun.
We are teaching this family of 5 and they are so awesome. We asked the dad if he wanted to be baptized and he kinda said yes but he wanted to come to church first cuz we have been teaching them for like 2 months now and they haven't come yet. However... they actually came this Sunday and although it was definetley a little awkward for them, it was such a miracle and answer to our prayers. Hopefully we can continue to teach them and get them in the waters of baptism.
I guess a few other random things that happened
One of the hermanas wrecked her ankle playing volleyball on Friday... so prayers up for her🙏
Soccer nights are starting to have awesome turn outs which is good but I'm also trying a lot harder and so I'm getting these huge blisters on my feet that hurt really bad😬
We've had a few fun dinners which is good because I have no food at home but everyone here is great😁
A member told us he was going make us the best dinner we've ever had and was hyping up his crab all week and when we got there he literally made us salmon🤨
Anyways a little spiritual Thought that I shared at soccer tonight...
3 Nephi 11: 10-11
"10 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.
11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning.
I talked about how this tells us 2 things. Prophets really do receive revelation por medio del espíritu santo. And that Jesús Christ died for your sins, my sins, and everyone's sins. I then told them that we can have fun playing soccer and having good games, and that even tho *my team won* (both times), none of that matters. BECAUSE... Jesus Christ truly is the savior and redeemer of the world and through Him, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again. Muy poderoso💪
...then they gave me a round of applause haha😇
Anyways I love you all. Be chill, stay awesome and do great things.
Love Elder Precio
