Transfers

 Alright sorry for writing this email late. This past week just flew by and it's because we had Elder Wada of the Seventy come and do a mission tour so 3 days of the week were pretty much spent just listening to him but I loved it. This also means we didn't do a lot of missionary work but it's alright. This week we won't do a ton either though because of Thanksgiving and transfers.


Transfers
Super horrible news...Elder Baker is being transferred to Seattle. It is actually so depressing because I did everything with him this transfer. Good news however is I did not get transferred and I still have my same trainer and Elder Bodell is also staying here.

P-Day
Great p-day this week. We played golf, bowling, and a lot of football. It felt so good to run some routes and throw a football around. I actuallly miss it so much. We also had a member meal and they fed 8 missionaries so that was fun cuz all my boys were there. 

Spanish/Talk
So I gave my first talk in Spanish. I'm not gonna lie I just straight up read it off my phone but I got great feeback from the members. They said I suprised them for being out here for only 2 months and that my pronounciation is super good. I'm getting a little more confident in my ability to speak but understanding is still pretty difficult. I can see some progress but I also need to lock in on my studies. I haven't been takin those super serious recently so my goal this transfer is to lock in and hopefully become fluent haha. 

Temple...Crash?
We went to the Spanish session at the temple on Saturday and it felt so cool and weird all at the same time being back there. It made me a little homesick but it was super fun cause  all the other Spanish Elders were there as well. After the session, we were going to get cafe rio and we were stopped at a red light. We had missionaries in front of us and behind us. My comp, trying to be funny, slowly backs up to the elders behind us until we are so close to them. Then the dude behind us starts going forward very slowly until he eventually taps the back us our car with the front of his. So now he was like whoops and backed up from us. Well the light goes green and my comp forgets he's in reverse...slams the gas...and complety rams into the front of the Elders car behind us haha. I was dying laughing but my comp was so scared so we just kept driving. It was actually soooo funny. 

Overall Vibe
This transfer flew by. I don't know how this next one will go but everyone says every transfer just gets faster. I hope that's true because I still have 15 to go or something but I'm excited to see what happens. So far I love it out here. Some days have been pretty hard but overall not to bad. I'm going to try and work harder and harder each day because I know there are people out there who need to hear the gospel. I highly encourage anyone who hasn't or isn't sure if they want to serve a mission to just send it. What's the worst that can happen. I'll be honest it's hard buttttt... it can also be mad fun and youre doing the Lord's work and that's all that matters.

I hope you are all doing great! I miss all of you. The Elders out here aren't as cool as yall people back home but I guess they will have to do for the next 2 years. I love you all and will hopefully talk to you next week. Alsoooo someone email me pleaseeee. I get no contact to the outside world and I wanna know whats going on. Anyways... love yall, Peace!

  Fun fact y'all, I'm still alive haha. Man I don't know where to start.  There is so much I could talk about. I don't want to write to long of an email so I will try to keep everything brief and not go into to much detail. Also I have my next pday in like 4 days so I can write more then I guess. Spanish Everyone always wants to know how the language is going so figured I would start with it. Spanish is coming along. I feel way  more comfortable about my Spanish after teaching a few lessons all by myself on exchanges. I put it in the simplest way possible, I can teach in Spanish but the every day conversation stuff is still coming along but it does feel like I'm starting to learn a lot more and faster which is good.  BOM! Yes sir, I finished Book Of Mormon for the first time ever front to back. Ya its a little sad but hey, I was soooo hyped to finally finished it. It felt sooo good and you can hear it from me here first, that book is TRUE! So happy I finished it...

New Area

  Alright so we indeed got transferred. Actually we got whitewashed without getting a call so that was different.  but I'm grateful to be here. I was really sad to leave Kent but I think this place might be better. Im innnnn... Sammamish Valley / Bothell. Ya... no but fr we got blessed up. We live in such a nice apartment and I  got a w companion. We also live with 3 other spanish Elders who are all so chill so that makes it fun. We play catan every night so far. There's also a pool table down the hall so we played some pool today. I went 4-0 heck ya Spanish  I'm going to be honest I hardly used any Spanish last transfer in Kent. Things were just slow and we weren't finding to many people. But  we cooking here. My Spanish is actually so much better and I usually feel confident in conversations and talking. I still need to learn subjunctive tho... they don't tell you about that in the mtc... but it's chill we will learn aventually. Clean Slate... So basically me ...

Almost Transfers

Ya so apparently this transfer is already over and I feel like I will be staying the same area. We will see what happens though. This week was lowkey mad fun and some crazy things happened but I don't wanna right a super long email so we will see what makes it in.  Overall this transfer was fun but honestly could have been a lot better work wise. Some days definitely felt like we could have done more but thats something  I can work on next transfer. Also my boy Elder Jeffs will probably get transfered out so thats sad but it'll be alright. Hopefully he stays. Language... To be honest I don't feel like my language improved to much this transfer but its all good I can still hold conversations and get around without feeling dumb. It'll get better though trust.  Gave two blessings yesterday which was cool. Yesterday was stake conference which was really cool and interesting. Some very interesting people spoke but it all ended up turning out ok. It was low key a spiritual...
