Seattle, Washington Mission

  What's up everybody, I'm finally getting around to writing an email in the morning which I should start doing more often. Anyways its been really fun here in Sammamish. The work is going great so far and the Spanish is really coming. I'm learning a few slang words which is good because it helps me connect with people better. haha. Somedays, especially with all the rain, the work sucks but at least now with day light savings it doesnt get dark near as fast. I gave a talk yesterday... it was funny cuz they had all 5 missionaries speak and so even after all of us finishing our talks early, we were still over by like 10 minutes haha. But my talk was soooo much better then the last because I could actually go off script and talk like a normal person a little bit.  Fun... We have a lot of fun in this house... don't worry we still follow rules and get stuff done but it's so fun here.   Alright so we indeed got transferred. Actually we got whitewashed without getting a call so that was different.  but I'm grateful to be here. I was really sad to leave Kent but I think this place might be better. Im innnnn... Sammamish Valley / Bothell. Ya... no but fr we got blessed up. We live in such a nice apartment and I  got a w companion. We also live with 3 other spanish Elders who are all so chill so that makes it fun. We play catan every night so far. There's also a pool table down the hall so we played some pool today. I went 4-0 heck ya Spanish  I'm going to be honest I hardly used any Spanish last transfer in Kent. Things were just slow and we weren't finding to many people. But  we cooking here. My Spanish is actually so much better and I usually feel confident in conversations and talking. I still need to learn subjunctive tho... they don't tell you about that in the mtc... but it's chill we will learn aventually. Clean Slate... So basically me ...

Ya so apparently this transfer is already over and I feel like I will be staying the same area. We will see what happens though. This week was lowkey mad fun and some crazy things happened but I don't wanna right a super long email so we will see what makes it in.  Overall this transfer was fun but honestly could have been a lot better work wise. Some days definitely felt like we could have done more but thats something  I can work on next transfer. Also my boy Elder Jeffs will probably get transfered out so thats sad but it'll be alright. Hopefully he stays. Language... To be honest I don't feel like my language improved to much this transfer but its all good I can still hold conversations and get around without feeling dumb. It'll get better though trust.  Gave two blessings yesterday which was cool. Yesterday was stake conference which was really cool and interesting. Some very interesting people spoke but it all ended up turning out ok. It was low key a spiritual...

Ok here we go, I am indeed back yall. (Elder Lloyd...) I didn't realize that it has been almost a whole month since I last wrote my email so here yall go. I honestly don't have much to say besides 1st BAPPY BABY. Yes that's right a baptism.  It  felt so good to actually have a baptism that I taught them the whole time. Unfortunately I wasn't the one who did the baptizing but it was so cool to see Jasmine get baptized and the members showed up and brought so much food it was actually so hype.  Awhile back the senior couple helped order her birth certificate so they could get married.  That happened last p-day.  I'm so happy for them.  But ya I guess thats the peak of what happened the past little while.  Everyone always wants to know how the language is coming, Spanish is starting to pick up again. Definitely not fluent but I'm fine I get by. haha.  I am defiantly gaining some weight though. One night I stepped on the scale and it said 175lbs ...

What is up everyone! It feels like its been a while and know what to really write about so we will see what happens to this email. TRANSFERS??? Drum rolllll...I had to say bye to my trainer Elder Bailey. It was a fun time being with him. But the new comp issssss Elder Stillwell. He is in my stake from back home. LIKE what are the odds of two missionaries serving in their home state, from the same stake (Pasco 1st Ward), speaking Spanish, being companions. That has to be a record of some sort.  Kinda crazy to think about. It's gonna be a good transfer though and I'm excited to see what happens.  He originally was called Argentina and was re assigned here.  He has been here for a transfer and a half.  CRAZY 2026. My goal is to make this a very memorable year and so as the title says, i'm gonna try my hardest to stay locked in but we will see how far I make it haha.  This also includes better personal study, cold showers, exercise, making better meals.   Fun fact y'all, I'm still alive haha. Man I don't know where to start.  There is so much I could talk about. I don't want to write to long of an email so I will try to keep everything brief and not go into to much detail. Also I have my next pday in like 4 days so I can write more then I guess. Spanish Everyone always wants to know how the language is going so figured I would start with it. Spanish is coming along. I feel way  more comfortable about my Spanish after teaching a few lessons all by myself on exchanges. I put it in the simplest way possible, I can teach in Spanish but the every day conversation stuff is still coming along but it does feel like I'm starting to learn a lot more and faster which is good.  BOM! Yes sir, I finished Book Of Mormon for the first time ever front to back. Ya its a little sad but hey, I was soooo hyped to finally finished it. It felt sooo good and you can hear it from me here first, that book is TRUE! So happy I finished it...
